Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BetterLegal. By accessing and using this website and our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Description of Services

BetterLegal provides an online platform that enables users to form business entities (LLCs, Corporations, etc.), obtain registered agent services, and access related business formation documents and tools. BetterLegal is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

User Accounts

To use certain features of our services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Payment Terms

All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. By providing a payment method, you authorize BetterLegal to charge all fees to that payment method. State filing fees are included in the total formation price and are subject to change based on state requirements.

Registered Agent Services

Registered agent services are provided on a subscription basis. The first year of registered agent service is included with business formation. After the first year, the service renews at the then-current rate. You may cancel your registered agent subscription at any time, but you are responsible for designating a new registered agent with the state.

Intellectual Property

The website and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by BetterLegal, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will BetterLegal, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or services. This limitation applies whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind. BetterLegal disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Changes to Terms

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes.
